Title: Discussion on Recent Changes to DO-178/254 Certification.
Abstract:
Come to this lunchtime session for a 1-hour Executive Summary overview and discussion of recent changes and trends in the compliance of airborne software and electronic hardware development. The first half of the seminar will focus on software, discussing the recent recognition of DO-178C (and its supplements) via AC20-115C, and identifying the pertinent differences between DO-178B and C. The second half of the seminar will focus on hardware, discussing the recent trends in policy and hot topics such as DO-254 compliance at the board level, compliance issues of using commercial IP, and single event upset (SEU) concerns and solutions. This seminar is appropriate for both management and engineers seeking to understand how these recent compliance changes can affect current and future programs. Time is allocated for discussions and Q&A. Lunch will be provided.
